PSG v Auxerre
Definitely the toughest match of the day to predict IMO and could literally swing either way. PSG have won 9/15 at home this season but are winless in 8 ligue games. The pressure is severely on Guy Lacombe to produce the goods and I would go as far as to say this is a must win match. I always have my doubts about PSG these days but I reckon they might claim a slender victory against an Auxerre team that has hated trips to Paris in recent years. They have yet to score a goal at Le Parc de Princes in the 21
st century and have lost 4/5 recent times here. PSG always seem to beat Auxerre 1-0 in this fixture and they did exactly that earlier in the season in the French cup. I don’t expect a classic here at all and it certainly isn’t a match to stake heavily on but I’m gonna give PSG a slight punt. Their price is a terrible 2.20 but id kick myself if I missed out on them here.
