I completely agree with you, it has been better without the media circus surrounding the English there. And yes the Russians are good, but then again, so are the Turks, the Swedes, the Italians, the Czechs!!
I wouldnt knock the French as I feel they are a decent side, but they need that one spark, that theyv missed since Zidane retired.
