Yes RIP Tommy Burns - Sad Indeed
It was an fantastic night last night (apart from the score

) and every Rangers fan I met did scotland proud. Inside the stadium they stayed and applauded zenit and the majority left peacefully.
As for rioting in Manchester, that bollocks!! and the tv pictures show nothing. Unfortunatley the big screen in one of the fanzones broke down and officals were trying to organise transport up to the velodrome so they could watch it there but obviously if you are missing the game of your life you want things to move a little faster tempers will be frayed. From what I heard on the local radio as we were driving home the riot police stepped in and that was that - 42 arrests out of 120,000 I think is quite exemplary

.
I think the riot police in Manchester see worse and arrest more on derby day. The biggest complaints this morning has been the state of the city centre with rubbish but I blame the council for that as there was a lack of facilities to dispose of rubbish and no concerted effort to deal with it.
Overall it was a pleasure to be there and a pleasure to meet so many Rangers fans who did their team and their country proud
