These are the fixtures for the Euro 2008 Competition, please use this thread to post your correct scores for the 24 1st round matches.
- All games to be predicted in one post, any others will be void.
- No editing in this forum, if you make a mistake repost everything within the hour, so please double check your posts.
- Please use the format as shown in the example.
- Selections ONLY to be posted in this thread, others maybe deleted.
- All selections to be posted by June 7th 5pm, no late entries.
Scoring Format
2pts for the correct result (max 2pts)
1pt for the correct amount of goals by either side (max 2pts)
1pt bonus for getting both sides correct (max 1pt)
So 5pts maximum can be achieved in each of the 24 games.
Further bonus points for; Rule Change 31st May
Predicting the top 4 teams in Euro 2008
(3rd and 4th named teams in either order as there is no 3rd/4th place play off)
5pts If you name a Semi Finalist
An extra 5pts if they reach the final
5pts extra if your number 1 team win Euro 2008
Failure to post a top 4 counts as 0pts.
Any games missed out will be void, no late posts accepted. (best to just copy and paste the example with your own scores)
In the event of a tie at the end of the competition, most 5pt max scores will win, if still level player who chose the eventual winners of Euro 2008 highest in their top 4. After that nearest total goals in the competition. After that - I quit!
