Default Re: Germany - Bundesliga (6-7 May 08)

HSV v Werder

Hamburg bounced back with the win at Rostock but regarding the Hansa performances, this needn't say too much after the downfall of the HSV. At least UEFA Cup is looking good again and they can profit from the defeat of Stuttgart, Well, Hamburg have lost force and discipline towards season end but I don't think they'll lack of motivation for this one after a few disappoiting home performaces in a row even though a draw would secure them fivth place. After all, they may still dream of the Champions League but therefor they need to improve. Werder Bremen were passed in table by Schalke yesterday, they need a draw to get on second place again. Werder have become stable again and the 2-0 over Cottbus was more than deserved. Defence still can be shaky like at Karlsruhe, for that reason Frings will be missed tonight while Diego is back. Offense of Werder has been looking alright anyway with Klasnic,Borowski and Özil in good shape. I fancy to a certain degree Werder to sneak sth from Hamburg and like both the draw and away win actually. Hamburg heavily tend to Unders while the opposite is the case for Werder. Hamburg may keep up scoring also so that I like the look of the Over.

Werder (0) AH

Over 2.5 @ 1.75 stan james 4/10

Bayern (-1) AH @ 1.7 betdaq 4/10

Odds are solid enough to play Bayern IMO even though they are oly playing for pride and a few club records. Bayern surprisingly left a few regulars at home and only came to the rather lucky draw at Wolfsburg. They're expected with the best XI also this time besides injured Klose ad Altinotop. There is still the bitter taste of the Zenith game but neverthelss, Bayern have done a great job national but need to improve in Europe what can be said about all German teams actually. However, I expect Bayern to invest into this game what is of need as Bielefeld will give their best to resist and thus hold bottom on distance. Not all performances have been impressing but three wins in last five and the draws from Hamburg and Nürnberg proove the good shape of the Arminia. They have the big advantage to be experienced in relegation fight. Kamper and Zuma seem to start the games what would be a good choice as Kamper decided the Bochum game and also Zuma has been important for the team. Still, I just can think of a win from Bayern by one goal at least and this odd surely considers the lacking actual motivaion for Bayern.
