3 for me tomorrow. Weather doesn't look like it's an issue.

10pts Durham to beat Yorkshire 8/11 Sportingbet

Defending champions Durham take on a gritty Yorkshire in front of the sky cameras on Sunday and I think the champions will take an awful lot of beating. They will have most of their England stars playing for them and that includes powerhouse keeper Phil Mustard and Steve Harmison too and they look very strong again.

Michael Vaughan plays for the White Rose and he forms a solid looking batting lineup alongside Anthony McGrath and Jacques Rudolph. Darren Gough and Matthew Hoggard will spearhead the Yorkshire bowling but there's a bit of inexperience in that bowling lineup too with only Bresnan having real experience and it could be that which is key. Durham were so strong in this last year and they have to be backed to open their account with a win.

10pts Nottinghamshire to beat Warwickshire 8/11 Coral

Nottinghamshire look a strong one day side if not a great 4 day side. A lot will depend on their captain Chris Read as to how they get on in the overall picture in this competition but the likes of Will Jefferson, Mark Wagh and Samit Patel are all good one day batsmen. Mark Ealham knows every millimetre of the one day game and Graeme Swann is also very experienced. Charlie Shreck and Darren Pattinson look a good new ball pairing.

Warwickshire are in transition and although everything suggests they will be a decent one day side, they are not at full strength yet and in places look very weak. Their bowling attack is made up of bit and pieces players rather than anyone special and while Maddy and Trott have plenty of runs in them, they look at least a batsman light. Notts have done well in the one day competitions in the last couple of seasons and I think they'll win this.

10pts Leicestershire to beat Northamptonshire 5/6 Stan James

Leicestershire had a great win in the 4 day game against Middlesex this week and they should take that confidence into the one day arena which is generally where they specialise. They look a good side even though they'll be without their 3 South Africans who are still back home playing twenty20. HD Ackerman and Jim Allenby can be explosive with the bat while Claude Henderson is very reliable to be tight with the ball.

Northants were dealt a huge blow in one day cricket when Andrew Hall and van der Wath lost their chance to play over here this summer. Johann Louw isn't here yet so a lot depends on Lance Klusener and David Sales. Northants look a couple of bowlers light and their batting doesn't inspire much either. Leicester are always hard to beat at Grace Rd and I think they should be favourites here so I'm happy to take 5/6.
