Default Re: AFC - Asian Champions League 2008

Kashima win by more than 2 goal margin against Beijing
Kashima have opened their Asian Champions league campaign in fine form with two huge wins: 9-1 and 6-0. Beijing have also won both their games beating the same two teams 4-2 and 3-1.
Kashima have some very good midfielders and with Marcos Araoujo already with 4 goals it would be hard for Beijing to stop their fine form especially with the game being played in Japan

Melbourne - Gamba over 2.5
Melbourne won their first game 2-0 at home against Chunnam while they lost their next game 3-1 away to Chumburi.
Gamba drew 1-1 away to Chumburi before a 4-3 win away to Chunnam.
Both teams have shown that they prefer to attack and this should be an open game, as their defences are not the best. With it being a very close group then 3 points is vital especially for Melbourne so we should see some goals here

Binh Duong - Adelaide over 2.5
Bind Duong lost their first game away to Changchun 2-1 and then lost 4-1 at home to Pohong. Adelaide win their first game away to Pohong 2-0 and then drew 0-0 at home to Changchun.
You would expect a comfortable Adelaide victory here but with the game being played in Vietnam and where in the past the humidity has affected Australian teams, this will make this game alot closer. For teams not used to the humidity, they tend to tire quickly, where they make mistakes and their defence starts to fall away. Adelaide will look to score early and then try to hold on while Duong will continue to chip away at them
