Guys, my brother brought his laptop round for me to sort something out for him at the weekend which was no problem but i noticed when i started his machine McAfee pop ups appeared on the desktop, basically saying files couldnt be found.
It seems he deleted some files when it expired as he doesnt want it.
Tried to go in and uninstall it properly but it says i cant, maybe need to reinstall it again to get rid of it properly but it was preloaded so can do that, is there a way of deleting this manually without having to reinstall, tried the msconfig to stop it starting without success.
Any help appreciated

its a nigtmare waiting for everything to stabalise so you can actually use the thing!
