Sunday´s 9th round of the eSport-Poker league saw the CVG Poker Champions lose more ground in the race for the title of best English poker team. A disappointing 4th placing in last Wednesday´s 9th round was followed by an even worse 7th place on Sunday. Even though the Champions are still leading the league table with 161 team points, they are now only doing so by a margin of 6 points.
The Red Aces have now taken a firm hold over the second place in the league table with a total of 155 team points. By coming 2nd in Wednesday´s 8th round and 1st in Sunday´s 9th round, the Aces have finally managed to overtake their direct rivals, the Bikeradar Kings of Poker. The Bikeradar Kings now stand in third place with 139 team points.
The fourth place, both in the 9th round and in the overall league table, is still occupied by the Royal Flush Poker Team, with 130 points. Although the team surprised us with their first victory of this season in last Wednesday´s 8th round, they can´t seem to get away from that fourth position.
The second best team in Sunday´s tournament was Techradar Calling United. The team now occupies the fifth overall position with 111 points.
Down at the bottom of the league table, it´s back to the old times, and the Casinos.co.uk Poker Team is once again aiming for the title of worst team in the 1st English eSport-Poker league. |
