A general question regarding the returnees from Adeccoligaen...I find myself wondering whether teams like Bodo and HamKam will change their approach at the beginning; both were very high scoring teams, but do we assume they will play the same kind of game against stronger opponents, or will they try to play tighter defense to stay in games?

I have not studied this, but it seems every year that some newcomers surprise their first opponents...Stromgodset beat Odd in their first game, lost at Brann and then got three draws against Lillestrom, Valerenga and Lyn, won at Rosenborg. Then at midseason, they fell apart. Any thoughts? Thanks, AC
How Molde, HamKam and Bodø will play dependes a little on who they are meeting. When they plays at home they have to attack to get points and they all showed last year in Adeccoligaen that they know where the goal is.
If you look at the defence skills, i have to say HamKam looks strongest and they have also the best defenders of those 3 clubs. HamKams coach A.Erlandsen is also known for playing a little defence football against better teams and i guess they will play on counter attacks when they play away. HamKam only conceeded 39 goals when they last time played in Tippeligaen in 2006, and i guess it will be something similar to that this year.
Bodø dont have a very good defence. Espacially their backs are a weak point. It seems they will field M.Hamoud and S.Johansen on their backs, and both of them are former offence players so that can be a problem. I know Bodø has just bought a new left back, Willis Forko from Vancouver in Canada, and that it jusy what they need. Not sure of his qualitys yet, so it will be interesting to see him and how he plays.
Molde has 2 good central defenders, but not to good players on the backs. They like to play an attacking football and it might suit them better to meet teams that are trying to attack, instead of teams in Adeccoligaen who where just defendeing all the time.
There are always surprises in Tippeligaen and i think HamKam are closes to make a good season of the 3 new teams. They have most quality and many players to choose from. So will only time tell if thats right or not
Hope this helped you a little.
