Euro 2012 Betting: Germany into 15/8 to win the tournament after strolling past Greece in quarter final
Germany are now a best priced 15/8 with Boylesports to win Euro 2012 after they brushed Greece aside with the minimum of fuss to reach the semi finals of the tournament on Friday night. Not only did they brush Greece aside they did so having rested the front three which had played the early stages of the tournament for them. The runners up of 2008 now await either Italy or England in the semi final on Thursday.
Spain remain the second favourites for the tournament at 13/5 with Bet365 ahead of their quarter final with France on Saturday. Spain haven’t at any stage looked as good as Germany in this tournament but they will have to start looking good soon if they are to go all the way while France have it all to do to beat Spain in the quarter final which is why they are 13/1 outsiders for the tournament with BetVictor.
England have surpassed all expectations not just by winning their group but by the way they have played and how solid they have looked. The England camp looks a relaxed one and all of a sudden a belief is starting to form that this could be the year of the three lions. If that is to be the case they will have to come past Italy in Sunday’s quarter final but Roy Hodgson’s men are 10/1 to win the tournament with Blue Square with Italy the same price.
The first team into the semi finals of the tournament were Portugal when a late Cristiano Ronaldo goal was enough for Portugal to see off Czech Republic in the quarter finals on Thursday. They now await the winner of the Spain vs France quarter final in a mouthwatering semi final and can be backed at 11/2 with Paddy Power to go all the way now.
