Ebor Handicap Betting Guide
York Ebor Meeting – 21st-24th August 2013
York stage a 4 day meeting every August with a feature race each day. The Ebor Handicap is usually run on the Friday, the final day of the meeting but for 2012 the 4 day meeting has been moved from Wednesday to Saturday rather than the usual Tuesday to Friday. The feature races for 2013 Ebor Festival are as follows:
Wednesday 21st August – Juddmonte International
Thursday 22nd August – Darley Yorkshire Oaks (also Ladies Day)
Friday 23rd August – Coolmore Nunthorpe
Saturday 24th August – Betfred Ebor
The Ebor handicap is open to thoroughbreds over 3 years old and is run over 1m 6f. The race was won by Purple Moon in 2007, that horse going on to finish 2nd in the Melbourne Cup in Australia later that year.
