County Handicap Hurdle Betting Guide
Vincent O’Brien County Handicap Hurdle – Grade 3 – 2m 1f
The 2nd hurdles race of the afternoon is a Grade 3 affair and is run over 2m1f. It is open to horses aged 5 and above and has been won by some massive priced winners over the last few years. It has been moved by the schedulers and was traditionally the last race of the festival. The race is named after the Irish trainer that retired back in 1994.
Paul Nicholls has won this race three times in recent years, 2009, 2006 and 2004 so look out for any of his runners that are entered. The Irish trainers have also been very prominent, winning the last four races as well as seven from the last eleven renewals.
