Brazil vs Mexico Betting: Two good attacking sides can produce a few goals at Cowboy Stadium

Brazil thrashed the USA on Wednesday night and now they face another North American opponent on Sunday evening when they take on Mexico at the Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, home of the NFL side the Dallas Cowboys. Mexico beat Bosnia earlier in the week and with Mexico having World Cup qualifiers coming up and Brazil only having friendlies to test themselves in until the World Cup this should be keenly contested.

Brazil have automatically qualified for the World Cup as hosts and they are 8/13 with William Hill to win this match. With no competitive action between now and the World Cup all their friendlies are more competitive than you would expect from a friendly. Hulk has been in good form in the last two matches as has Neymar who is thriving in this Mario Menezes side and looks sure to be a star of the tournament in Brazil when it comes around in 2014.

Mexico have enjoyed a decent little run in the last week or so having beaten Wales and Bosnia. This will be their final friendly before the important World Cup qualifiers come along next weekend. Javier Hernandez will be looking to continue his scoring run having scored the winner against Bosnia earlier in the week while the Tottenham midfielder Giovani dos Santos will also be looking to shine in this glamorous friendly.

I think these two sides will be looking forward to this friendly as a chance to showcase their talents in front of a big crowd in Dallas. Some of the players involved will have the Olympics to look forward to next month and will want to impress ahead of that. You would expect Brazil to win here but Mexico are no mugs and rather than take the Samba Boys at a short price I’m happy to take over 2.5 goals even though it is only slightly bigger. I think both sides will score and with the attacking personnel on show compared to the defensive personnel and the fact there’s no pressure on the game I would be surprised if we don’t see three goals here. I think we’ll see 4 or 5 at least.
