ATP Winston-Salem Betting: David Nalbandian could get the job done this week
Ok, the outright markets for the ATP event in Winston-Salem have moved quite considerably and I am now willing to have a small punt on one of the underdogs. We all know that these smaller tournaments often have surprising winner and this is obviously even more likely here due to the fact that the US Open is just around the corner, so the biggest favourites might not really be up for the challenge. For that reason, I would never want to back Jo-Wilfried Tsonga here at 3.75 with Bet365, even though his draw might look rather straightforward.
Meanwhile, there is one player that should never be underestimated in these smaller tournaments. I am talking about David Nalbandian. The Argentinian knows that he is not going to win Grand Slams anymore and seems to be fairly okay with trying hard in the smaller events. He has been very unlucky recently, having had to play against Tommy Haas in the first round twice in a row and getting beaten twice, so he would love to get things back on track here.
And, well, his draw does not really look that bad in all honesty. It is almost impossible to predict how it is going to develop, but let's just say that the worst draw until the finals would look something like this - Davydenko, Dolgopolov, Querrey, Berdych. That is a tough schedule, but it is not as tough as it might look like. Davydenko and Dolgopolov are out of form, Querrey is a good match-up and you never know what to say about Berdych these days. At this price, I am definitely willing to trust him with minimal stakes.
