'Arry Allsports bashes the bookies again with 40/1 Donald pick
‘Arry Allsports has done it again! Once again our very own ‘Arry has got followers of his golf picks dancing for joy. Two weeks after bashing the bookies with a 12/1 winner in Dubai he went and trumped that on Sunday when 40/1 pre-tournament pick Luke Donald won the Accenture Matchplay in Tucson, Arizona. Donald, who was never behind at any stage in a match for the entire tournament, beat Martin Kaymer 3&2 in Sunday’s final.
Donald went into the WGC event relatively unnoticed with the top 64 players in the world on show in Arizona and while all the pre-tournament attention was on the likes of Tiger Woods, Martin Kaymer and pre-event favourite Paul Casey, Arry studied the draw in detail and landed the 40/1 winner.
Next week the golfing world returns to normal with the PGA Tour heading to Florida for the Honda Classic which begins on Thursday. As always, Arry will be back later in the week aiming to give followers of his golf picks yet more big priced winners.
